Mrs. Ebert is a middle school teacher who is very passionate about teaching science for Heritage Christian School. She combines her passion for science and outer space and incorporates it into a creative and artistic environment to keep the kids avid in class. Gianna Carpenter claims, “We do a lot of activities and if you like drawing there’s a lot of that in this class. Mrs Ebert has high standards for our class and is very tidy in the classroom and is able to teach us about space very well.”
Recently, her students were working on an outer space project on the 5 layers of the atmosphere. The students have been challenged in their artistic abilities by having to draw the different objects and attributes each atmospheric level contains. Students have been incorporating spaceships, meteors, satellites, planes, all the way down to the earth’s surface with mountains and weather changes.
