Heritage Christian School Summer Camp is organized to give children, who are currently in TK-5th grade, one or two session(s) of wholesome and supervised recreation, including morning academics and afternoon enrichment activities. Those enrolled will be participating in a Christian atmosphere of encouragement, fun, and learning under the supervision of Heritage staff.

Fees
  • One-time registration fee of $50.00 due at the time of enrollment. This fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Each session costs $800. The session costs are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Session fees are not prorated if a camper does not attend the entire session.
  • Students must be picked up no later than 5:30 pm. A $2.00 per minute charge incurs after 5:30 pm.

Session 1 fees are due by May 5.
Session 2 fees due by June 2.

You may pay the full amount for both sessions by May 5.

Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday: 8:30 am-5:30 pm. Children may not be dropped off prior to 7:30 am. Children must be picked up by 5:30 pm. If you are going to be more than five minutes late, you must contact the school.

A fee of $2/per minute will accrue for every minute thereafter.

Immunizations

Campers new to Heritage Christian School must provide documentation of immunization records.

Camp Outcomes
  1. Assist campus to grow spiritually by example.

Playground, Blacktop, and Field Rules
  1. Campers are to remain in assigned areas of supervision.
  2. Permission is needed whenever a student leaves the playground, field, blacktop, patio, or field to use the restroom.
  3. Campers are not allowed to pick up, throw, or kick the playground rubber.
  4. Playing on the lower patio is at the discretion of the Director.
  5. Campers are not allowed to carry or pick up another student at any time.
  6. Improper equipment use that may cause harm to either student or staff is prohibited (standing on top of, climbing on, or jumping off).
  7. There is no running on any pavement, sidewalk, or walkways.
  8. Campers are not to climb on the walls or rails around the playground.
  9. Campers must sit on the slide with both feet in front of them.
  10. Campers may not block or run up the slide.
  11. Campers may not push anyone who is on a swing.
  12. Campers are not to jump off a swing while swinging.
  13. Campers are not to wait at the archways of the swings for their turn.
  14. Playing tag of any kind is not allowed.
  15. Campers not following the rules will be benched or removed from the activity at the discretion of the staff.
  16. Campers are not to bring personally owned sports equipment or electronic equipment (iPods, toys, electronic games, etc.) to camp. Heritage Summer Camp is not responsible or liable for the damage, theft, or loss of personal items.
Lunch Pavilion Rules
  1. Lunches and backpacks are kept in the Pavilion.
  2. There is no running in the Pavilion.
  3. Campers are not to throw trash or food at any time. Trash pick-up will be assigned.
  4. Campers are to clean up any spills they cause.
  5. Campers must eat at the assigned lunch tables only.
Dress Code
  1. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. No torn, undersized or oversized or branded clothing is allowed.
  2. Females choosing to wear a skirt or dress, should wear shorts underneath. Shorts or pants are preferred as some events require physical activity. Shorts must be of modest length.
  3. Socks are required. Closed toed and closed back shoes are required. Tennis shoes are encouraged. Sandals may only be worn on specified days for water activities or water related field trips. This information will be communicated in advance.
Conditions of Termination

Heritage Christian School reserves the right to dismiss, refuse to enroll, or re-enroll any student with a twenty-four-hour notice at the school’s discretion, based on but not limited to, the following:

  1. Delinquent tuition payments;
  2. Failure to complete any state mandated or school policy form;
  3. Any behavior causing a risk of harm to the health and safety of other students or staff;
  4. Violation of the principles set forth in the Heritage Christian School Elementary Parent/Student Handbook, including, but not limited to the teaching philosophy, operation policies, and objectives of the school;
  5. Chronic or persistent misconduct.

Week 1: Computer coding/ robotics camp with Coach Augur
Intro to computer science and programming using block coding and robots. Aiming to develop computational thinking and problem solving skills.

Week 2: Disney Week

Week 3: Art Camp with Mrs. Johnson!
Help students dive into their creative side and give them the freedom to express themselves through art!)

July 5-28

Week 1: Super Hero Week

Week 2: Sports camp with Coach Nick and Rebeca
During this week Coach Nick and Becca will be working with students in sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc.

Week 3: Science camp with coach Wyatt!
In this week-long science camp we will be doing hands-on experiments that will get your students making their own hypothesis on what will happen next!

Week 4: Hawaiian Luau End of Camp Celebration

Heritage Christian School places the safety and well-being of our students and staff as our top priority. Our safety policies will be strictly enforced. Any student displaying any cold/flu like symptoms will be removed from the class and must be picked up immediately. HCS holds the right to refuse service to anyone who fail to comply.
