If you feel as though God is far away from you, you are not alone. In the wake of an unprecedented virus that has ravaged and pillaged our health, jobs, peace, and ultimately taken the lives of over four million people, it is not surprising that many have come to feel as though God is nowhere near us. The loss of loved ones has left irreparable wounds and voids that only God can fill.

In the book of Isaiah, we hear about a prophecy concerning the coming of the Messiah in chapter 7. A Messiah who shall be called Emmanuel (meaning God with us). Fast Forward to the 43rd chapter and in verse 2, which says “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” God then, speaking through the prophet, reassures us of His unending presence in verse 5, saying “Do not be afraid, for I am with you…”

Join Heritage Christian School as we remind ourselves and celebrate God’s love for us as manifested in Christ Jesus. Join us as we use this time to encourage each other’s faith and together proclaim the sovereignty and omnipresence of our God and savior, “Emmanuel.”

This night will feature an amazing assortment of carols and popular Christmas tunes. Most importantly, it will feature a community of the faithful singing together alongside the High School Orchestra, Rendered, Middle School Advanced and Beginning Bands, and the ever eclectic sound of the Warriors Jazz Band.
