Heritage Christian School was established in 2012.  The North Campus began Preschool classes in the fall of 2016.

The after-school Performing Arts Academy offers elementary students programs in theatre and music. Music classes and private lessons are available in piano, guitar, drums, violin, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, flute, trombone, voice, and beginning band. Theatre takes places for one session each semester.

Elementary students may compete in co-ed intramural basketball and soccer. A separate registration fee is required for participation.

Heritage Christian School is a member and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is also accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The Discovery program is recognized by the National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) as a program of excellence.

Textbooks for all grade levels are loaned to the students.

The school year consists of two semesters of approximately eighteen weeks each. Students in elementary school receive two interim grade progress reports and a final grade each semester.

All of our elementary classrooms are equipped with state of the art SMART Boards.

90% of our faculty hold a teaching certificate from ASCI (Association of Christian Schools International). In addition, many of the faculty have a state teaching credential.

Elementary class sizes vary between 15-18 students per classroom, with a maximum of 20.

Critical thinking, group projects, and use of technology provide students with the skills needed to enhance learning.

Besides the core subjects, physical education, music, including band and choir, art, and computer are offered.

A healthy lunch is available every day for purchase. Parents have the option of pre-ordering lunch online. A separate sitting area is designated for students with food allergies.

Morning and afternoon scheduled recesses are separated by grade levels.

Our large playground is split to create a separation for an exclusive Preschool play area and an exclusive TK-5 play area.

Preschool and elementary students have separate restrooms on campus.

Preschool varies on program selected
TK-2nd is 8:30AM-3:00PM
3rd-5th is 8:15AM-3:00PM

Complimentary morning day care is available beginning at 6:45AM.
Afternoon day care is available at a fee from 3:15PM-6:00PM.

An innovative and creative workspace for our elementary students in our new, state of the art iLab.

Our iLab is equipped with a variety of separated work spaces, modern technology, books, a 3Dprinter, iPads, and multiple methods of building and enhancing problem solving skills.

Chapel assemblies are conducted weekly for all students. Separate chapels are held for Preschool and TK-5.

Monthly Award Chapels take place to honor students with exemplary behavior in a specified character trait.
