Credit Recovery

Grades 6-12
We are pleased to welcome you to our Credit Recovery Program. The program allows students to strengthen skills and make up credits that were lost during the school year. The HCS credit recovery program is a great place for your student to learn and grow.

The program is entirely online. A teacher monitors student progress, corrects work and contacts parents when needed to facilitate student success. The student works independently on the course until completion.

Each unit begins with a “pretest” if the student scores at least 70% on the pretest they skip that unit and move on to the next pretest. If a student scores below 70% on a pre-test, lessons are assigned to the student based on the questions they missed.

Students are expected to work at least 30 minutes per day on each semester course. They may work anytime because it is web-based.

Enrollees may finish the course as quickly as they like, but the last day to finish for the Summer session is August 1, 2022.

There will not be any extension to these end dates.

Summer Recovery Program

Spring Recovery must be completed by May 1 and Summer Recovery must be completed by August 1.
